What’s in the July Sample Society Box
This has been a good month for beauty boxes! First the Birchbox with a $9.99 rebate (or free subscription  to Women’s Health), and now this latest Sample Society with several luxury items in my colors.
I jumped first on the bottle of  butter London Champers champagne colored nailpolish ($15). Finally a color I would wear every day! And on the compact of Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder ($36), also in my color.
Next was an adorable little jar of Fekkai PrX Reparatives Hair Mask ($7.99)
I was a little skeptical when I pulled out the last two items. As you might know, I’m not a fan of fragrances, but I really loved the slightly musky floral smell of Maison Francis Kurkdjian Aqua Universalis Eau de Toilette which was less feminine than I would have expected. I didn’t know whether to be sad or glad when I discovered this $175 product has been discontinued.
I was also leery of what looked like yet another tube of red lipstick, but instead it was a glossy – L’Oreal Paris Extraordinaire ColourRiche Lipcolour ($10). A very vibrant lipgloss, but one  I could see myself using.
So for $15, definitely a good deal! Only three of the products are actually sold on the Sample Society/Beauty.com website which makes it difficult to redeem the $15 off $50 coupon that comes with every box.
