US Airways Rolling Out More Benefits for Elites
I’ve never been so excited to look at the in-flight menu for US Airways domestic economy!
They’ve finally adopted the American Airlines Executive Platinum elite benefit of complimentary snacks and alcoholic beverages for their top elites.
It’s a small thing, but it makes a big difference. Part of why complimentary upgrades appeal to me is at least getting a snack and a glass of whatever I want to drink without having to do the cost-benefit analysis in my head. This basically accomplishes that.
It’s still not quite as generous as American flights where any snack they have, including sandwiches and salads, qualify, but I’m not complaining. The ala carte snacks are larger than what you get in First Class! And if you were wondering, the premium and sparkling wines are not eligible, Jeanne and I asked. 🙂
