Free Admission to National Parks Today!
Today the 133 national parks (out of 405) that usually charge an entrance fee are free! If you’re looking for something fun to do on this holiday, check out the list of participating parks which includes:
Denali National Park & Reserve in Alaska (only open to mile 3 today though)- Grand Canyon in Arizona
- Muir Woods in California
- Everglades in Florida
- Yellowstone in Idaho
- Assateague Island in Maryland and Virginia
- Skyline Drive (Shenandoah National Park) in Virginia
And if you need more advance notice, mark you calendar with the National Park Service’s list of all 2015 free entrance days 🙂
