$25 Hotel Credit When You Sign Up for Orbitz Rewards

By  |

Update: Though nothing in the terms & conditions indicated you could not do both offers, some readers are reporting that they did not receive the $25 email. When I’ve contacted Orbitz I’ve gotten mixed responses — some agents saying the $10 offer invalidates the $25 code and others offering a $25 refund on the first booking.

First saw this promo mentioned on Pizza In Motion: new members can currently sign up for Orbitz Rewards and get $10 to use instantly towards a hotel booking. This also stacks with the $25 promo code you get towards your first hotel stay when signing up with my referral link.

The landing page won’t show the $10 promo but it will be instantly credited to your account. The $25 promo code will be emailed, usually within 24 hoursupdate: Orbitz reps say it may now take up to 5 business days. Note the $10 credit expires in 60 days.

What is Orbitz Rewards?

Orbitz Rewards is one of my favorite loyalty programs because the benefits are instant. You earn Orbucks for most bookings — hotel, flights, and vacation packages– made through Orbitz which can then be redeemed towards a hotel booking.

If you’ve only earned $.13 you can take that off your next Orbitz hotel booking. This is way better than alternatives like Expedia Rewards which require a minimum number of points to redeem for a discount. Orbucks can be combined with their other sales and promos to maximize your savings.

With only 4 stays you become a gold member which comes with hotel upgrades, wifi, and breakfast.

I use my Orbucks for non-chain hotel stays which won’t impact my ability to earn elite status.

Full Disclosure: I may receive affiliate credit from links in this post or on this site which will help fund my travels. Thank you for your support!

I’m sorry to hear that! I had a friend test it out first (hence the screenshot), and had no problem. I’d suggest chatting Orbitz Customer Service here to let them know your credit is missing: Let me know if you still have problems!

I don’t know how you would get the $10 instantly. Since I clicked on your referral link, there is no $10 offer, only the $25 offer is valid right?

I checked with Orbitz and they said it may take 5 business days (which is a change from my previous experience). Thanks for letting me know — I’ve also updated the post with that info

    Hi Keri,

I used your link back in July to sign up for Orbitz Rewards and never got the $25 promo email. I finally got around to contacting them tonight and they say they need the email address of the person who referred me. Can you please let me know your e-mail so I can follow up again with Orbitz…or if you are still offering to contact them for people, can you reach out to them for me?
