“Free” Travel Size & Individual Samples from Amazon
For awhile Amazon has been offering Prime Members “free” sample boxes — collections of beauty items, food, pet treats, sun care, etc. The boxes cost between $4.99 and $19.99 and come with a future purchase credit equal to the price. The credit can then be applied to a select group of items (usually far more extensive than the original samples).
The boxes are not exactly free, only if you want to buy some of the eligible products. So far I’ve not had trouble finding uses for my credit, and for the most part the samples are decent enough that the box is almost worth it on its own, especially since you know in advance what you’re getting.
If you’re not already an Amazon Prime Member you can sign up for a free 30 day trial (and/or American Express cardemembers should also check their AMEX offers to see if they are eligible for 5,000 points)
