Places I Want to Go: Mill Ends Park

a tree growing out of a concrete planter

I just saw on the news that Mill Ends Park,  the “World’s smallest park”, was recently burglarized with thieves stealing the park’s one tree, which has both been replaced and the original returned.

Invalid request error occurred.

Seeing this tiny park in a median has caught my fancy, so hopefully whenever I finally make it out to Portland, Oregon to visit Powell’s I’ll be able to take in the sight.

My favorite Yelp review is courtesy of Allen K:

“A modestly-sized piece of real estate adjacent to the enormous Waterfront Park, Mill Ends Park is majestic in its own right and provides joy to all who visit. Though, small in size the possibilities are endless…”
