July’s Glossybox Keeps Me Hanging On

a box with a blue card inside

I’ve been debating whether or not to keep my monthly beauty box subscriptions, or at least narrow to one. There’s been alot of overlap lately, and while Glossybox has had some higher end products, Birchbox is only $10 compared to Glossybox’s $21 and they’ve been offering bonus boxes and other deals.

I’d actually intended to pause my Glossybox subscription, but forgot, and after receiving this month’s I was glad I didn’t!

Just opening the box I had a happy inkling I would like the contents 🙂

First glance showed useful items like Evologie and facial cleansing cloths!

Facial cleansing cloths are one of the indulgences that make long flights bearable, particularly when I don’t get upgraded to first, so I’m excited to try Nicka K New York Absolute! Makeup Cleansing Tissues, especially since they’re a little more affordable at 60 sheets for $6.99. And what’s not fun about travel size Bulgari shampoo & shower gel? 😉

Next up was the little tube of Evologie Intensive Blemish Serum which I had tried a few months earlier with great success. In fact, I applied some immediately as the mileage run to Alaska had taken its toll on my face. And Figs & Rouge Cherry Blossom Tinted Lip Balm is fantastic (and perfect for the dry air on the flights).

The only things I wasn’t completely thrilled with was the Brazillian Blowout Acai Deep Conditioning Masque, but that’s only because I don’t have damaged hair. That said, it still could be helpful. The Nails Inc Baker Street Nailpolish looks like a high quality polish, unfortunately my tastes don’t run to blue 🙁
