Uber’s $30 First Ride Credit & Referral Bonus is Back, and it Applies to Existing Credits!
I didn’t realize when Uber decreased their sign up and referral bonus from $30 to $20 that it would effect any existing free ride credits you had. Found that out the hard way!
When View From the Wing mentioned earlier this week the $30 credit towards your first ride was back, I was hopeful it also impacted my existing free ride.
And this morning I confirmed it. If you have existing referral credits, they’re worth $30 again!
It may not seem like a big deal, but for me that $10 is the difference between getting a free ride to the airport in an UberX or a black car. 🙂 Or spending less when stuck in rush hour traffic, like this morning.
