Amazon Offering Flexible Amazon Prime Subscriptions & Free Kindle Credit
Exciting news for folks who like Amazon Prime but don’t need or want it year round. You can now sign up by the month for Prime or just Prime Video for $8.99-$10.99. This is perfect if you only do a lot of online ordering during certain times of the year (like Christmas).
If you’re going to use either for more than 9 months out of the year though, you’re better off with annual subscription which is the equivalent to $8.25 a month.
For me, Prime is one of the greatest things ever, and when traveling within the US I love the access to their huge music and video library (which rivals Netflix), not to mention same day delivery when I’ve forgotten something on a trip. Internationally it takes a little more planning as you have to download (before leaving the US) any prime movies or shows you want to watch, but still pretty great.
And if you have an Android phone and have never downloaded an app or game, you may be eligible for a $5 Kindle ebook credit for downloading a free game. (h/t: Slickdealio on Slickdeals. Here are some of the details from the Amazon page
