$50 Off Spirit Air Flights, Today ONLY!

a yellow background with white textIf you have any flights you are even CONSIDERING taking on Spirit Airlines, today is the day to book them. With the exception of Thanksgiving and Christmas time, there is a $50 off online coupon good for all round-trip flights on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from October 1 – November 1, December 3 – 17, and January 7 – February 11, 2015.

We’re planning a trip to Orlando for the Disney World half-marathon in January and we can get non-stop round-trip tickets for $84.18 a person. That’s not including luggage, but even if we check two bags that still brings the cost to only $110.18 per person round-trip.

You don’t have to purchase your bags today, so you can figure that out later as long as you purchase more than 24 hours before your flight you will still get the discounted rate.

So much for my plan to drive to Florida on our next trip. =)

How do you get it?

Just type in 50OFF in the promotional code box.

Enjoy!

  1. I am waiting for 2 days now for my lost check in bag from my current DEN-LAS trip on Spirit Airlines. On my last flight from OAK-LAS I had the pleasure to experience a long long delay. I would recommend flying Southwest and not Spirit. During my online research I found that Spirit has the highest number of complaints to the FAA compared to all the other US carriers. I just wanted to share my experience with them.

    1. I understand. Everyone’s personal experience has a play in this. I’ve checked bags on over a dozen Spirit flights and never has lost one, but many people tell me they have. I hope you get yours soon.

Our luggage used to never make the connection in Atlanta (on Delta) when we were flying home; we knew every time we were going to have to go back to the airport the next day to get our bags.

    1. I should clarify, I would be buying tickets for our family of four. We usually only check one bag between the four of us, but even if we wanted to check two this time around, it would be $52 each way (I’m a $9 fare club member). It comes out to $26 extra per person, per ticket which is where I got my numbers. If there was only two of us flying I would NOT check more than one bag. I hope this clears it up!

  2. Do you know how early or on what schedule spirit releases flight schedules? I see there are flight up on on the website through July now. I’m not planning on jumping anything that early, but just curious.
