Uber and Silvercar Coming to Las Vegas + Deals on Vegas Transportation
Better transportation options are/will soon be available for Las Vegas McCarran Airport passengers. Which is a relief for me since I’ve heard so many horror stories about being cheated by cab drivers.
Earlier this week Uber started picking up and dropping off passengers legally from the airport (though I’m sure plenty of people used airport workarounds like this to get service before).
Lyft has been operating for some months and is offering $5 off your first ride in the Vegas area with code 5OFFVEGAS. New to Lyft? Sign up via my link and get up to $50 in ride credit (amount varies by city apparently).
And if you plan on renting a car, going in style just got a lot easier and cheaper. Silvercar announced they’re now accepting reservations for rentals starting January 4. Silvercar is easily my favorite rental car company of all time. Not only do all renters get the service reserved for top elites at other rental car agencies, but every car  is an Audi A4 with free GPS, wifi, and sunroof. Plus, there’s no extra fee for renters under 25 years old!
Rates in Vegas start at $69 a day, less than you’d pay for a premium car from other companies.
And View from the Wing highlights a way for new Silvercar customers to get $100 off a 2 day rental anywhere.  Sign up via a referral link to get $25 back after your first rental and apply code Elevate75 to get $75 off a 2+ day reservation.
